Our workshop in Makkum
Roland van Malsen founded Van Malsen Jachtbetimmering BV in 2002, out of his love of woodworking and rowing. From our workshop on the IJsselmeer we fit yachts to order and make oars known well beyond Makkum.
Our machines run largely on solar power from 48 of our own solar panels, our company van is 100% electric and the workshop is lit entirely by LED. As a certified apprenticeship workshop, we've trained new craftsmen in the trade in practice since 2019.
